Walnut Marudai with both round and square tops
I've been making marudai for almost 20 years.
We add a groove around the outer edge so you can a use a band to help hold your strands and tama in place while you're not braiding.
Our marudai are turned one at a time, by hand. each one is a little different. All of them have a nice, deep well to help transition to your finished braid.
Silky smooth is a requirement and we meet that requirement!
All of our marudai are made from single, wide width boards so you never have to worry about a glue joint opening up or failing.
this stand is approximately 10 inches across and stands 24 inches tall.
