5 yard Hard Maple Inkle poom
We have been building inkle looms for about 21 years. This is the latest incarnation!
Our looms are built using joinery not screws to make sure you have a loom that last for years.
There are no visible fasteners showing and the only metal in the loom is in the tension peg and feet. The feet are removable if you like!
This loom is 1 1/16 thick with hard maple dowels set to within 1/16th of the back for a clean look. Since the dowels are set deeper than they are thick, it makes them harder to pull loose!
This loom warps 170 inches or just under 5 yards! Yep I said just under 5 yards! Some floor model inkle looms don't do 5 yards.
The tension peg is set in the middle of the warp so you can use it for card/tablet weaving and the work area is never diminished when the warp gets tighter
