based on several medieval images this loom is built using mortise and tenon joinery. The only metal in this loom is a small wire brad that holds the locking pawl on.
The weaving area is 7 inches wide by 22 inches long. Great for using multiple packs of cards.
Overall dimensions are 12 1/2 inches wide by 26 inches long. The front castle is 6 inches tall and the rear is 9 inches tall. This gives a nice angled working area.
As always, our looms come with a hardwood shuttle!
